“Autrefois La Modiste” a former milliner's shop, is situated in the heart of the picturesque Gascon village of Saint Clar in Gascony (Gers) and has been lovingly transformed into an Art Deco style apartment for two where you can stay as long as you like (a night, a weekend, a week or more….).
Autrefois La Modiste overlooks the 13th century market place. This peaceful village, boasting two bastides and situated in the Lomagne area of Gascony, is an ideal base for exploring one of the most beautiful and renowned parts of south-west France. The area is famous for such gastronomic delicacies as foie gras, garlic, melons, Armagnac, and Gascon and Madiran wines. During your stay, you will also enjoy discovering the diverse colourful landscapes and historic architectural treasures of the area.
