Description

La Bourdette du Ray is a small hamlet of about 7 families. At the centre is an old farmhouse at one end of which is the gite.
There is a small orchard and many varieties of trees and shrubs. It is fully self-contained, decorated with warmth and character, with a patio overlooking the pool for dining or reading.
The garden has a picnic table and swimming pool (pool shared with the owners), hammocks and BBQ; there are sun beds and garden chairs, and there is plenty of parking space next to the Gite. The pool is 12.6 x 7 m; the entire area is fenced off. There is a boules area and a croquet lawn (hardly tournament standard, but lots of fun with a full croquet set).
The surrounding area is rich in opportunities for all kinds of leisure activities, peace, adventure, sport, nature, culture and good food, within easy reach of some of the most spectacular sites that France has to offer. The area also caters for the more extreme sports, such as paragliding, climbing and caving.
