Description
In the rural hamlet of La Barette, near to the market town of Melle, in the narrow valley of 'La Berlande', lies La Longère. Our 200 year old 'Long House' where we have managed the conversion of the barns and stables into three spacious luxury cottages, retaining most of their original features.
They have been designed to provide everything for a relaxing holiday. Acres of land sloping down to the river, a huge swimming pool on it’s own secluded sun-terrace, private patios for “al fresco” dining, modern bath and shower rooms with hair dryers. If you want to cater for yourself there are fully fitted kitchens and gas BBQs. Alternatively we can provide home-cooked meals, with vegetables from our own garden, or you can eat in one of the many local restaurants.
Each cottage has SatTv with DVD player, other activities include a Boules Piste, Pool & Ping-Pong tables. We can arrange Cycle Hire, Horse Riding, Tennis, Golf, Water Sports and even Quad-bike rides. Or just watch the birds.
