Description
De gite behoort bij een boerij uit 1750, en heeft een terras met tuinmeubilair gite is zeer knus ingericht met zithoek, open haard, eethoek, badkamer en een compleet ingerichte keuken. gite is geschikt voor 5 personen en heeft twee ruime slaapkamers op eerste verdieping, één met een tweepersoonsbed en één met een stapelbed + enkel bed. Het 2 ha grote terrein van Mathonière is een goed vertrekpunt om omgeving te verkennen. Walroutes lopen langs het terrein en het is mogelijk om een fiets te huren. Op het terrein zijn tevens enkele kampeerplaatsen. Voor kiren is er een zwembadje, schommel, zandbak en er is speelgoed aanwezig. Op korte afstand is een natuurmeer met strand waar men kan zwemmen, kanoën, zeilen en surfen. Ook in het nabij gelegen Foret Troncais, het fraaiste eikenbos van Europa, kan men o.a. zwemmen.
