Description
Cardinal Richelieu chose this 'Garden of France' area to build his walled fortress town. Originally an early 17th century Courtiers residence the house has now been refurbished for modern living but retains many of the original characteristics. The gite is arranged over three floors connected by the original wooden spiral staircase.G/Floor large living room with wood burning stove, modern kitchen with all facilities, bathroom with bath+shower. 4 huge colour coordinated bedrooms and outdoor courtyard with BBQ. All amenities are walking distance and just a short drive to Chinon,Samur, Tours or Poitiers.
