Description
Ons huis ligt in het historisch centrum van Barjac, in één van de rustige, smalle straatjes (auto vrij).
Barjac is een historisch stadje in het departement "Gard", aan de voet van het natuurgebied de Cévennen. Het is gelegen hoog op een heuvel, in een groene vallei met uitgestrekte wijngaarden, olijfbomen, rivieren en bos. Prachtige vergezichten. Een heerlijk wandelgebied. Qua ligging ook perfect voor een bezoek aan Provençaalse plaatsen als Avignon, Nîmes, Orange of Uzès. De Middellandse Zee is in iets meer dan een uur te bereiken. In het huis bevinden zich vier zelfstandige, sfeervolle appartementen, te bereiken via een indrukwekkende stenen trap. Er is verder een binnenplaatsje met barbecue en een gezellige gemeenschappelijke ruimte met een grote leestafel en veel informatie over de omgeving. De appartementen blijven in de zomer heerlijk koel door de de ligging van het huis en de hele dikke muren.
