La proximité forestière naturelle favorise l’observation d’une faune et d’une flore riche et variée.
Une vie sociale conviviale se déroule à l’échelle du petit village de Gigors.
Aux alentours des exploitations agricoles accueillantes proposent de nombreux produits biologiques (plantes médicinales et aromatiques, miel, pain au levain, fromages chèvre et brebis, lait, oeufs, légumes...).
La diversité paysagère permet baignade, randonnée à cheval, randonnée pédestre, VTT, escalace, golf, canoe-cajak.
