The inviting 11m swimming-pool, shared with the owners and other holidays makers, and lovely views from this exceptional hilltop setting over limestonehills and oak woods are trump cards but, beyond, lie 18 acres of the owner'swoods where guests are free to wander. the Cottages interiors are neat, compact and inviting, with rustic furniture and pretty touches in decor.
In the area, the delighful old village of Bruniquel and its castle, numerous waymarked walks linking one hill-perched bastides to another ; Gaillac's vineyards and, further afield, the Toulouse-Lautred museum and magnificent cathedral at Albi.
