Description

We look forward to welcoming you to Le Grand Bost. Our beautiful gite is a converted barn
(140sq.m) located in the beautiful Forêt de la Double in the Dordogne. With four double bedrooms (3
upstairs) it will sleep max 8 adults + 2 children. Downstairs is designed and adapted for wheelchair users. Everywhere, except the washing machine & utilities cupboard, is accessible with wide openings and tiled, smooth surfaces. There are 2 beds downstairs, which can be raised on blocks. The shower/wc is large enough to take an electric wheelchair and there is a movable shower chair and fixed bench seat & grab handles in that room. The w.c. is raised.
All of the outside is suitable for wheelchairs to move about easily. The fenced (French law) pool has corner steps as well as a hoist and slings for those unable to use the steps. It has a level bottom at 1.5 metres. Oil fired central heating and double glazing makes this a pleasant house to stay in winter or summer.
