Charente Maritime is benefiting from a usually very sunny weather, ranging just behind the
Mediterranean coast from this point of view (but with no strong wind alike mistral or
Tramontane).
The house is located in a small village: Poléon part of the de Saint Georges du Bois commune,
situated just nearby Surgères ( TGV train station and all comodities).
Paris is about 400 Km away by toll road, the is 25 Km away, La Rochelle is 30 Km de La
Rochelle as well as Rochefort.
Poleon is located at the border of the so call “Green Venise” a famous part of the
Marais-Poitevin. The Island of Ré is only 30
