Situé à 750 m d'alt., le hameau de Grandfontaine est niché au creux du val de Vennes, entre Orchamps-Vennes et Morteau, sur la route de Besançon à Neuchâtel, à 20 km de la Suisse. Magnifques fermes à "tuyé", dont l'une abrite un musée des traditions, "la Ferme du Montagnon". Nombreuses possibilités de randonnées pédestres, VTT et ski de fond. A 2 km commerces et services de proximité (boulangerie, boucherie, moyenne surface, cabinet médical et pharmacie).
